The Cliq Connection's Mission Statement

The mission of The Cliq Connection is to provide an inclusive, enjoyable, and secure interactive app for NDIS participants, enabling them to establish and nurture meaningful and healthy social connections. Through our sister organisations, First Step Solutions and The Date-Ability Project, we have had the privilege of educating and getting to know a variety of people within the community on a deeper level.

During our interactions, participants have openly shared their experiences within various social settings, both online and in real-life encounters. Unfortunately, many of these experiences have involved instances of financial scams or harassment. We have talked in depth about the feelings that are experienced when meeting new people; the anxiety, the frustration and lack of safe and comfortable opportunities. It was clear the community needed an outlet to learn about healthy and safe social connections, and The Date-Ability program addresses that need. It’s incredibly clear the NDIS community needs a positive way to create these connections.

The Cliq Connection Came to Life

The development of the Cliq Connection is based on:
