The instruction booklet will help you set your kit up and then it is time to play. To begin, the server tosses the ball into the air and hits the ball onto the net by striking the ball with their open hand. The two players on defense now have up to three hits to get the ball back onto the net successfully without letting the ball hit the ground. They are trying to get the ball to bounce onto the net in a way that it will land on the ground before the team who served can get to the ball. If they can get to the ball the team who served also has up to three hits to get the ball back onto the net. The rally continues until the ball hits the ground, the outside frame or bounces twice on the net. Every time the ball bounces on the net possession changes.
